Os vencedores dos prémios da Academia Britânica de Cinema serão revelados a 13 de março.
Os famosos prémios britânicos do cinema estão de volta e serão apresentados numa cerimônia em março apresentada por Rebel Wilson.
Quanto ás nomeações, são vários os nomes espectáveis como "Belfast", "Dune" e "O Poder do Cão" visto já terem acumulado várias nomeações na época de prémios, mas há algumas ausências surpreendentes que podem dar algumas pistas para os Óscares.
A ausência de Steven Spielberg como melhor realizador por "West Side Story" e de Nicole Kidman em "Being the Ricardos", Kristen Stewart em "Pencer" e Olivia Coleman em "A Filha Perdida" como melhor atriz são das mais chocantes. Lady gaga em "Casa de Gucci" é a única na sua categoria que soma nomeações nos Globos de Ouro, SAG e BAFTA podendo indicar um bom futuro nos Óscares.
"Dune" é o filme com mais nomeações, 11 no total, seguindo-se "O Poder do Cão" com 8 nomeações, "Belfast" com 6 e "Licorice Pizza", "West Side Story" e "007 - Sem Tempo Para Morrer" com 5 cada um, no ano com mais nomeações no feminino.
